Our packaging policy
B.W. Recycling, Inc has a policy of how packages should be sent to us.
Packages with electronics for recycling should be as follows:
Boxes
The type of boxes to use, must be cardboard boxes, and must be shippable and able to hold the weight of the material in the box.Weight of boxes: Each box must weigh at least 50 lbs but not more than 70 lbs. The box must also be taped all around make sure the box does not collapse during transport.
No Hazardous Material policy
No Liquids
Please note that we do not accept any material that is in a form of liquid,
some exceptions are made on certain types of material and must be approved ahead
of time.
Palettes
We accept palettes with material, please note that the palettes shipped to us
must meet industry size standards and in any way not larger than 55" wide / long
or tall. Exceptions can be made in some cases, we will need photos of the
palette(s).
Palette also must be in good shape and all materials on the palette must be
secured to the palette with enough shrink wrap to secure it, please note that
the weight limit on palettes is 2500 lbs per palette. Exceptions can be made in
some cases, we will need photos of the palette(s).
Also make sure that the items fit on the palette and not crossing the edges
of the palette.
We do accept Gaylord boxes / Crates as long as they meet the criteria above
Drums with recyclable materials are accepted and must be on palettes, the
drums has to be covered with a lid. or taped with cardboards, drums must be
secured to the palette with straps as well as shrink wrap to hold the barrels
together on the palette, weight limit is 2500 lbs for drums.
B.W. Recycling, Inc has the right to return material due to a policy breach and has the right to claim for any damages that may occur.
